On the steps of once was The Ambassador Hotel sits a man, keeping to himself.

His name is Matthew and he is 54 year old. Originally from Ohio, he has been in California for the past 20 years. There is not much that he wants today or has to say.

He tells me that he is O.K. today.

And that, is all that matters.
