It was hard to understand this man from Romania. His broken english mixed with various foreign jabs, alluded to a man with a bright outlook on life. His attempt to spell his name took a few minutes but finally, it was completed and understood.

Born in 1954 in Romania he moved to Los Angeles in 1981. Claiming he was sponsored by a Romanian Culture Group, he know not how to get in touch with them today and is living on the streets. He admits he is doing o.k. for today, and that he works a few various jobs to get by. He points out two buildings, and shows me where he sometimes labors for food for the past 20 years.

He is happy and content with what he has today. “I don’t need nothing, I have everything. I am very happy, I have everything”.
