“I am so Grateful….grateful to The Lord. I am grateful the he keeps me, cause he does. I give him credit for everything. There’s no “Me” without Him…there’s no doubt about it”.

“The most important thing is to listen to your parents”. So says Jessica, a native of Jackson, Mississippi who has been downtown since 1995.  “As a child, we think that our parents don’t know anything but, as an adult, I know everything that was instilled in me is what I needed at that time. I didn’t know, but now I am very grateful.

“Today, I am blessed….it’s not freezing today. It’s been cold, so very cold out here. But not today….the sun is out.
